As a young kid who loved all things art and design, my mom would often say, "You should work for Disney." It seemed so far-fetched, yet she made it sound so simple, as if I could just pick up the phone, call Bob Iger, and ask for a job. Yeah, right, Mom.
Now, lo and behold, I am writing to the team that could make this seemingly impossible dream a potential reality. And the timing couldn't be better. With years of experience leading global teams, inspiring creatives, and driving world-class innovation within creative departments, I believe my unique skill set is poised to help lead Yellow Shoes to continued success.
My path has been unique. For seven years, I was the Chief Creative Officer at Dailey, the longest-running independent advertising agency on the West Coast. Along with the team, I created award-winning work, built brands, developed tool kits and brand guidelines and successfully led brands to strong accomplishments, During my tenure, I led teams of over 25 individuals to win more than 15 new business accounts, including Honda Jet, Legoland, the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes, and MidFirst Bank, to name a few, generating over $15 million in new revenue. After several acquisitions and rebrandings, I decided to pursue new opportunities.
From there, I transitioned to Digital Domain, an Academy Award-winning global visual effects and digital production company. Here, I lead the Advertising Experiences group, providing leadership, creative direction, and strategic thinking to develop unique advertising experiences across diverse projects, platforms, and media for brands, agencies, and production companies.
With this unique blend of experience and my enthusiasm for the work coming out of Yellow Shoes, I believe I would make a great addition to your team. I have extensive experience managing teams and collaborating with key departments. I consider myself an inspirational leader who instills a sense of passion and a belief that anything is possible. Feel free to reach out to one of your CDs, Christine Call, whom I managed for years at Omelet, an award-winning creative agency in Culver City.
I would love to bring my skills to Yellow Shoes. As you can see from the photo above, Disney has been an integral part of my life and my family’s. I'm inspired by how your communications embrace the magical memories people experience at Disney — it’s 100% true. My daughter cried when she met Tiana, and we all got misty-eyed. I would love the opportunity to continue building memories for millions of Disney fans like myself around the world.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
